WinAmp Remote 2.2 is a utility to stream the musical contents of your hard disk through the Internet.
You can play MP3 files hosted on your computer (while it is online) from work, another computer, a TV with WII, XBox or PS3 or your mobile phone.

When you install the program for the first time, you are required to get an account. You must enter your desired login name, an email account (optional) and a password.

Then, the program sets an account for you, and gives you the address from where you will be able to reach your media: http://www.winamp.com/remote.

If you enter that site, you will need to provide your user name and password, and then open your MP3 files from everywhere, provided the computer that hosts the files is connected to the Internet at that time.

You are presented with a web page, where you will see the contents of media files on your PC, categorized in folders. You can then build playlists, use already made playlists or play individual files.

WinAmp Remote 2.2 works with most known browsers, like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape and Opera.
